Perhaps every glossy advert for an electric car (or anything else using cobalt) should have a message like on cigarette packets: "WARNING: produced by workers forced to endure excessive hours, discrimination, wages too low to live on and physical abuse. And it caused great damage to the local environment. And it produced more waste than metal."
Is there an easy way to track where the producer's metals come from (eg. in case I want to buy a car, can I find where the company sourced it's metals from)? Thanks for the article
